Certified Practitioner Spotlight - Molly Harmon McIntyre, LAc, RN, CMIP
Molly is a licensed acupuncturist, clinical herbalist and RN. She is aware of the journey of the soul and combines this understanding with a passion for helping people truly heal. Medical Intuition serves as a bridge and a center template to deep knowing, healing and intuition, which supports her Chinese Medicine and Applied Shamanic Healing practices.
Hi, Molly! Tell us about your background and credentials in health and wellness.
I practiced as a Labor and Delivery RN for 3 years. At that time, I started an advanced practice Nurse-Midwifery program at the University of Colorado Health Sciences and realized that first semester that my path was actually meant to be in complementary medicine. I was blessed to have three healthy home births and I wanted to raise my children with natural medicine. I also wanted to practice in a health and wellness care system vs. a disease care system.
I decided to study Traditional Chinese Medicine at Southwest Acupuncture College in Boulder in 2001. It offered so much with Somatic treatment tools and Herbal medicine. I graduated in 2005 and have had a private practice since then. At one point, I decided that I needed to understand Five Element Chinese Medicine and the Spirit of the Medicine... which lead me to study with a mentor for 5 years where I was introduced to Shamanism and Plant Spirit Medicine. I was drawn to all of this because I believe that our bodies and minds have the power to heal themselves when we work with and heal our spiritual selves. It's really important to get to the root of the issue versus treating the branch.
What drew you to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™?
I have always wanted to know the original cause and reason for my client's ailments because, without that piece, people sometimes have difficulty with healing occurring. I knew that there was much more to everything than what meets the eye. I was drawn to The Practical Path® Medical Intuitive Training™ to be able to get underneath a problem and find out what the cause of the issue really is. I have always had access to my intuition and knew that I needed to bring it to the forefront, but didn't have a template to do that with. The skills that I have learned in this program offer me a way to access my intuition in a straightforward way.
How does Medical Intuition support your professional practice?
There are times when a health problem is a basic physical one and needles and herbal formulas can often help resolve them. But when we need to look even deeper to unwind some layers, Medical Intuition gives me a template for that deeper dive. Medical Intuition is the “hub of the wheel” in pulling all of my skills together to know which to use in helping a client with a health issue. Medical Intuition also allows me to access information in order to treat and clear emotional energy blocks with Shamanism and acupuncture, as this is an important piece to help the energy in our bodies to flow freely and heal.
Medical Intuition allows me to see the whole client picture, to see the issue from a medical, emotional and spiritual level, and then helps me to access at what level the healing needs to occur. With this higher and deeper level of information, I can put my other skills in place to help clients find true healing.
How does Medical Intuition support your personal life?
Medical Intuition has been a turning point for my spiritual life as well as my personal life. I have a much deeper connection with source energy and can operate from that place more regularly and more easily. Like any practice, as I am spending so much time with it in my work life, it is easily finding a place in my personal life. It is foundational to my meditation practices, my work, and my life. It is part of my every day because I have a stronger connection with my higher self and I operate from there as much as possible.
Anything else you'd like to let people know?
Healing work is my deepest passion. Being a human being on this planet at this time is complex and I love being able to offer support healing in a multi-dimensional way. My goal is also to help people transcend and evolve into their purpose here in this lifetime and live in their fullest light. I am honored and grateful to be able to practice this work.
